All appliances should be disconnected before move day. This includes washer, dryer, refrigerator and ice maker.
If you need help preparing appliances let your coordinator know.
prepare machinery to be moved?
Drain all gasoline out of any type of machinery such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc.
make the final payment?
You can prepay by credit card. If you choose to do this and have a nonbinding estimate you will be charged the estimate
plus 10%. Any overpayment will be credited back to your card. You may pay at destination with cash or certified check.
The driver will not take a personal check and will not unload the shipment until paid.
the driver allow certain items on the truck?
Any items that might endanger your shipment are not allowed on the truck. Perishable products that could spoil or
chemical items that are flammable are considered non-allowables.
the crew go up into my attic?
The movers are not allowed to go into an attic with a disappearing staircase because of the danger of falling through the
ceiling. If you can not move these items please let your move representative know.
the proper time to file a claim?
If you notice damage during the unloading process that is the best time to point this out to the driver. If you discover
damage or loss after unloading call your move coordinator for the proper paperwork.
my furniture going to arrive?
Your order for service should indicate the dates you must be available for delivery. Your driver could arrive at
anytime during this spread to deliver your shipment. This spread is based on the weight and distance of your move.
Your driver will give you a courtesy call 24 hours before delivery.
